Stopped for speeding and gets his car searched? Gee, I wonder how the conversation went. Trooper,, Sir I stopped you for speeding can I search your car? Dummy, sure you can, just ignore the illegal machine guns.
FWIW, a traffic stop will never get my permission to search my vehicle. In fact, any search of any of my property would take a warrant. This is dumb.... |

No shit , some of you guys are just way to quick to judge and convict , first off I'm not a big fan of potheads but that's all it was , fucking pot.
Second , the illegals were claimed by his buddy , not him , yes he shot them , but if I was out in the field shooting and my buddy showed with full autos I would probably squeeze the trigger a couple of times. Third , whenever I hear about a bust like this , inevitably I also hear some goon running his mouth at how "dumb it was to be speeding with a payload like that." If you honestly think the majority of those stops are not on a hunch rather than speeding , I would love to visit the world you live in. After all , who is going to worry about fighting a speeding ticket after being popped for 3 felonies. Last but not least , let me type this very clearly because I can already see the Ritalin induced reply. This kid deserves punishment no doubt , but if everything I've read about his service to our military is true , it seems to me old Uncle Sam used him up and spit him out. 8 1/2 years??? Even if he was deemed a danger to society , (which is defiantly possible) help the man and give him the respect he deserves. I know , the court ordered counseling and treatment for PTSD . Well , the guy that busted got PTSD from somewhere , the court ordered in-patient treatment for it. One thing I do have remit is the fact that I've read this article from 4 different sources and am still confused. Did this guy get Years or Months in Prison???? If it's months , I'd say he got off nicely and the help he's ordered to receive should help. If it's years , it'll be like counseling John J. Rambo. |
