None of the guys in Mass are answering, and I know we got a bunch of smart guys in here, so:
I work with a guy who has a class A LTC, but doesn't know much about it. Can he buy "high cap mags" legally? What about "assault weapons"? He's genuinely interested, as you could imagine, and I'd love to give him some info. Please inform us with what you know on the subject. Thanks, guys. |

If he's a Mass resident, he can't buy high cap mags that were made after September 13, 1994.
So it's ten rounders or less unless they are pre-ban. In order for a Mass resident to have the pre-ban rifle mags > 10 rounds, must be in possession of a Class B LTC or better. In order for a Mass resident to have the pre-ban pistol mags > 10 rounds, must be in possess of a Class A LTC. |

ETA: We have 300+% the traffic MA has. And this question about MA was answered from a CT resident in the CTHTF, but no replies in the MA forum. It was also posted in the MA forum three and a half hours prior to posting in CT. CT had 60 views in 5 hours, and a reply. MA has 18 views in 8.5 hours, no replies. That has absolutely no correlation to this thread, or anything for that matter, but my brain is in a thinky mood and I thought that was interesting. |
