My daughter goes to school at UTC, her car needs a diag and repair. Can anyone give me a recommend on a decent Mechanic? Location Red Bank.

Thanks for the response. We've decided she can get by this week without the car and I'm going to take her mine this week and trailer it back home.
It's a 2000 Olds Alero. At this time I don't know what exactly is the problem but her description sounds like the serpentine belt is gone. Battery not charging, power steering not working, temp guage going to red. Again thanks. |

Again thanks. I was going to say have her look and see if the belt is missing and I'd go down there and replace it for you but realized if it's a V6 you have to take loose the motor mount. Probably hard to do with a floor jack if it's not sitting flat. |

She says she's good for now bumming rides to school and work, she has a roommate and lots of friends. She'll get my 2006 exploder this weekend and I'll trailer that GM POS back here and figure out the best way to unload it. I have a great and inexpensive local mechanic, but I might just junk it. |
