My mom just got laid off. She has been medical coding for the last 9 years. Contract she was working was just moved to the Philippines. I know this is a long shot, just trying to help her find a lead. Thanks for reading! |

A lot of it is getting off-shored because with all the cuts due to Obamacare all the insurance companies and hospital and clinic networks are having to severely tighten their belts. I'd be searching on sites like indeed, Monster, etc... but it is going to be slim pickings... And watch out for scams. Lots of scammers trying to take advantage of people seeking medical coding work. |
