| If we could get meet ups setup in different parts of the state to discuss current issues would you be interested in attending. If so, what format would be best in your opinion? A post in GD got me curious so I figured I'd ask. Ideas? |

A lot of meet ups have happened in columbus and I know Cleveland has had at least one has happened in Cleveland. Turn out is usually the same few people. It's generally grabbing some beers, shooting in a group is not easy due to lack of facilities. ETA what issues do you mean? Planning on starting a militia or something? |

No, just getting like minded people together to bs. |

Where do you all have to shoot up there? |

Shooting is the tough part. You are mostly limited to state ranges and indoor obviously not great for group outings. Of course some people belong to clubs but they all have strict members policies and understandably. When we meet up its mostly for beers and conversation.

| I've wondered about doing the same thing myself. I live in Cincinnati but I have private land out in Mount Orab with a skeet range and 45 yard pistol/rifle range. It's perfect to go out and shoot without having a range officer. My friends aren't as gun crazy as I am and it would be nice to meet other people with different firearms. |

Beers or business?
Not scarted of brewbies, just got less than lousy service last time I went into the Kilt and don't care to go back. Don't really do the going out for beer thing too much anymore anyways. Once the weather turns I could see doing (hosting perhaps) a business meeting with livations afterwards. Hell , we can get 5000 to show up for a f'n store opening... Why can't they show up for a pro-gun rally, or a 'like minds meeting' |
| I started this group on facebook called Cincinnati Shooters. We haven't really done much of anything yet, but expect it to come alive when the weather gets nicer. It sounds like the kind of group some of you are looking for. Its not a classifieds group but we do occasionally post local deals we see at gun shops around the area. Greetings gentlemen, been awhile since I was around. I am in Dayton, would like to have a meet n greet in the near future. No weapons, just would like to see where everyone stands on current events? As a matter of fact I will start a thread. Miami Valley Rendezvous
