Is Running for Governor as a Republican. She is the former CEO of Ebay. It was during her watch that they banned the sale of firearms parts. She has never held political office and wasnt even registered to vote until recently. She's a classic Rino. Unfortunately due to her wealth she is the Republican front runner.
Be sure to vote in the Republican primary for anyone other than Meg Whitman. |

"GOP gubernatorial candidate and former eBay CEO Meg Whitman has been getting hammered for not voting regularly - a shortcoming that especially got media attention during last weekend’s state Republican convention in Indian Wells. Today, she explained that it was only when she got to the Silicon Valley and confronted problems with government that she began to get engaged with politics.
A Sacramento Bee investigation could find no evidence that she had ever voted before 2002, and also didn’t vote in the 2003 gubernatorial recall election that put Arnold Schwarzenegger in office. Not only was Whitman getting blasted for not voting, but also for declining to explain why she hadn’t voted..." She never registered as a Republican until 2007. |

eBay's policies while she was in charge were not friendly to shooters.
She endorsed Boxer the last time Boxer in the last election. Her campaign refuses to answer any questions about 2A issues. I've spent the last week going back and forth with them and getting nowhere. I asked about eBay's policies and her stance in general. I asked if she would veto AB 962 and SB 585 and haven't received an answer. JB may be the best choice as far as guns (I know, it's counter-intuitive and it blows my mind too). |

If that's the case then I take back what I stated earlier about Whitman. |
| If I had the chance to vote (moved out a couple of years ago)...it would be for Tom Campbell on the Republican ticket. I worked for Tom at the CA Department of Finance several years ago. He was the Director of Finance during Ahnold's first term and after leaving, he served as the Dean at UC Berkely's school of Public Policy. He's a strong fiscal conservative, served in the legislature for several terms, and I think that he knows what needs to be done fiscally for the state. The legislature is the problem... The state is just ungovernable! |

The state is just ungovernable! Campbell is a strong fiscal conservative but his record on 2A issues is abysmal. Some say he's changed his mind given the Heller decision but he's yet to say anything publicly. |
