I just took in a Mega Machine Shop, Inc. AR15 on pawn. It's all decked out ETC. It looks like a quality piece, but this is the 1st time I've heard of a Mega, much less held one. Their website is under construction so that was of little help. What's the intel on this gun. TD @ Shamrock Pawn |

Great quality, great reputation. I would put it up against any other lower. Thing is that you have taken in a gun built off of a lower because unless I'm mistaken Mega does not make complete rifles. http://www.commtechreview.net/firearms/megalwr.htm http://www.carricozarmory.com/mega.htm are two things that pulled up on google. |
sssssshhhhhh!!! I'm workin' here! |
I believe you are correct. The lowers themselves seem to sell for a little more than some other brands, not that is necessarily an indication of anything but I did notice that in my search for a new lower. |
I'm not at liberty to do anything with it until the owner defaults on the loan. That's at least 40 days from today. I would prefer to keep the package together if I do end up selling it. Td |

yea I understand I would too. just thought I would ask. also kblagg sells gator lowers: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=21&t=501258 |
| As I understand it, they did make very few complete rifles, but it has been a while since they did. Now they make uppers and lowers. If the upper is not marked Mega, then there is no way it is a complete factory gun. If it is marked Mega, then it is still very unlikely that it is a factory gun. They are excelent quality (sorry countercontagion) by the way. |
