The company is Flextronics and is located at the intersection of Holmes and Crumpler. JOB DESCRIPTION •Responsible for ensuring Service Level Agreements are fulfilled and the application users have a professional and satisfying system support experience. •Maintains existing code on select applications and reports. •Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. •Participates in assigned implementation projects and user training. •Provides assistance to internal and external end users on a variety of requests to identify, research, and resolve technical problems. •Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. •Monitors the production application environments and responses with a sense of urgency to all production related issues in addition to responding to problem tickets, telephone, e-mail, and personal requests for technical support. •Requires after hours and weekend support (on-site and/or remote access availability). REQUIRED (MUST-HAVE) QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or related field is required. •2-4 years of equivalent experience in application support is required. •Working knowledge/experience with barcode labeling software, preferably Loftware in addition to relational databases (i.e. MS SQL) to facilitate programming software. •Strong troubleshooting and proven customer services skills. •Demonstrated PC experience to include Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Word. •Programming experience with C+ or C++, Visual Basic, and SQL. •Must self-motivated and possess a resilient drive for results as an individual contributor. DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Prior experience providing first level support in Baan, Atlas, and Flex Flow are a plus. |
