Folks, if you haven't already, please let both your Representative and Senator know what an important issue this is, and that the goal is to *eliminate* the 83 gun boards. If you already have, please contact them again. Things are really starting to heat up with this, and they need to know where you stand. If anyone needs help, either locating their legislator, or writing a letter, or whatever, let me know. Thanks, B. |

There is a push on to take the CCW issue out of the hands of the county gun boards and into the hands of the SoS. The thought is that the local antis, the sheriff, the prosecutor, and the state police rep (who is always an anti civvie ass), are always going to illegally make the process harder then it legally should be and stall as much as they can (all true in dem counties). The downside is what happens when another dem gets elected SoS? If we think things are tough now with local dems just try to think what a pwoerful dem would do. |
