About halfway through the thing my wife turned to me and said her new budget sure does contain a lot of new stuff...how much is she going to want to tax us?? She has a point. No worker left behind, business credits, more police, specialty schools and on and on. Brace for another tax hike. 'Tis the democrat way...they know how to spend your money better than you do... |

Alternative energy sources..Ethanol?...this is going away..unless you want to pay 200 % more for your grocery bill i the near future. Windmills.... I wanted to put one on my own lad and the township where I live said no good the state won't allow it. The state informed me that it would be a hazard to low flying aircraft and a danger to wildlife..... I guess untill Consumers Energy has them no one will. |

One more note...how do you raise proerty taxes on properties that can't sell and have dropped thru the floor on value?. How do you raise taxes when public services are beig cut back or limited...hello right hand meet ......left hand. More taxes...time to put in one that mobile home owners start paying like the rest of us..section 8 housing....lets start there as well. Michigan needs a WPA system. Want to collect? we have a job for you to earn it. Install the Sheriff Joe prison system of Arizona and see how much less the Michigan State prison system will cost us. Youth Boot Camps?...try Youth Work Camps, put'em to work cleaning up Detroit....after boot camp they should go onto the real thing for 4 years and if tey come thru ad are honorably discharged seal their records and let them start clean. Sorry just me sounding off....and yes I have been called a socialist. |
