| Thank god! Maybe there will be alittle more calm on the sideline now, and the offensive and defensive coordinators will be able to influence the play making decisions. |
| Yeah this is for the better. I'll give the guy credit for getting us out of the dumps but we were starting to head that way again. I think the lose to Oregon State was the deal that sealed it. Hopefully we can get somebody who will bring respectibility and get us over to a higher level this time. I do like the AD, he seems to take his job seriously and seems aggresive. Alot better than that old tool Livenbad that hired Stoops. BearDown Arizona! |

I suspect things will change pretty quickly. How so? Better, worse?? My take is they werent happy for awhile and the loss to OSU was the last straw. I suspect they are serious about getting the program turned around or they would of let him stay until the end of the season or even wait till his contract ran out next year. Hopefully we get somebody that can make things a respectable program. Not just mediocrity. |

They have lost some tough games by close scores. There was no reason to lose to O S. Greg Byrne knows what he is doing, I suspect the D C was hired on his recommendation. I understand that there was quite a bit of disagreement between him and Stoops.
We will wait and see, |

It's about time. Yes, I do appreciate what he did to recover from the Makovic era, but we had been stuck for too long. What bothered me was that it seemed like we were never ready to play a game this season. We even started slow against NAU. I didn't expect us to beat Okie State, Stanford or Oregon. But I wanted a better effort. We were completely flat for the first half. And with Oregon, while I doubt we'd have won in the end, if we make the field goal at the end of the half and the one at the beginning of the 2nd, we're tied with them. Do we win? I don't know, but the whole damn game might have been different. And I think we should've beaten USC, not just OSU. If he's sitting at 3-3, with wins over OSU and USC, he still has a job. And how do you not come up with a better kicker than Zendejas? Really? I know he won the 2009 UofA/ASU game, but he'd had the yips all last season. I am hoping they hire Mike Leach. He has shown he can take a non-top tier team and make them competitive with the big boys, he's an offensive genius with sub-prime talent and he can recruit in Texas. |
