Yeah, no doubt. I live in Lansing..I'd love to go shooting with some fellow Arfcommers sometime. I also have a friend that I work with who is building his first AR (with my advice/assistance)...a Mega billet lower with an LMT 16" carbine upper.
-D2V PM me as well if you are looking for some company at the next shoot. |

That looks like a riot!! I have always wanted to take one of my ARs to an "active" shoot like that...instead of just bench shooting. I looks like the rules stipulate no brakes on rifles except by approval. Do you think I'd be able to run my 6920 with a PWS TTO on it? If not, I can always throw the standard A2 FH back on..or run one of my other ARs without a brake on it.
How many rounds do you guys normally use (sidearm and rifle) during an ACTS shoot? If I can't make April I am definitely going to be to one soon. I have been searching high and low for a new range to shoot at (the local for me, Family Shooters Corral on Belleview Hwy..I actually live in Eaton Rapids...raised their rates to $14 per hour!!! I haven't been back since I found that out). Centerline looks like an awesome place to shoot with VERY reasonable rates. I've been to Bellevue a few times myself to visit with a friend of mine who lives there. G-lock...thanks for the info! You made my day. |

As for ammo counts, rarely over a 100 rifle, 50 pistol. Centerline is a good place to shoot, keep in mind only open Wednesdays and weekends. I hope you can join us, I see all these photos of guys in MI with cool guy looking guns but they rarely show up to shoot. One word of caution, tho, we've been seeing lots of new guys with unacceptable gun handling skills, now this may not apply to you, but it needs to be said. We have a bunch of fun, but it's safety first, so make sure you know where your muzzle is, use the safety and keep the bogger hookers out of the trigger guard. Come out and enjoy! |

I am definitely going to make my way down there. On an odd note...a friend of mine who I don't see very often stopped by last night. I was showing him my newest AR (a Noveske N4 light 14.5") and he mentioned the ACTS shoot! He didn't participate but told me he saw you guys shooting one January. He said it looked like a lot of fun. Hope to see you all soon! |

Good idea though for practicing. I can never find the damn thing, since LE targets usually have the center mass zone a little higher. I just make headshots the whole match.
