Well, I figure it's time *I* did a minor rant. This one is a twofer, so I'm getting my $$$ worth..........  I was at the Cohn Adult Learning Center this morning (long story, boring too). I was supposed to be in Room 211 @ 9am. I thought I'd hit the head before I went in, save my bladder some excitement for later. I'm looking around as I walk down the hall as I've never set foot in this place & a female comes out in the hall. Conversation is as follows. She's about 30 feet down the hall from me. "Can I help you?" No ma'am. "Are you here for the pancake breakfast?" No ma'am. "Are you here for the (unintelligiable)?" No ma'am. Oh, wait, yes, you can help me. Can you be kind enough to tell me where the bathroom is? "Are you here just to use the bathroom?" WTF?????? Now, I'm carrying a newspaper & a book & I'm not wearing a suit, but I did shower & shave this morning & had on clean clothes. She THINKS I drove all the way across town JUST to use her precious bathroom???? Does she THINK *I* look like a fucking bum?????????  I started to say something worthy of a Bob Cole response, but then I simply said, "Have a NICE DAY" & found the restroom.  (Part two) So, I'm in my group (after my bathroom run) & things get organized. In pops Ms. Liberal wearing her "Citizen of the World" tee-shirt, complete coverage front & back of flags of every nation known in the world. Nice shirt. "Thanks." What does that mean, Citizen of the World? "Well, we're all a citizen of the world, w/o borders, yadda yadda yadda........." Unh-huh. What about your fellow citizens who saw off the heads of US citizens & treat their women worse than dogs????????? "Blank stare............................." I doubt she'll be calling me soon for a date..................... Christ, is there a law REQUIRING liberals to be SO clueless about EVERYTHING in the world?????????? |
C'mon, you've heard or read more than one................ I probably would have asked her: 1) Do *I* look like a fucking bum?????? 2) How many people come in here with a book & newspaper looking for the bathroom??? 3) Would she like to hold my head while I shit??????  I'm sure I could have come up with others at the moment............  The irony is, she turned out to be the DIRECTOR of the literacy program there.  |
