What do yall guys think about Model 1 Sales?

I am looking at picking one of there kits to build up as a cheap project.  I would just have to add a reciever and optics.

pretty good pricing IMO.

Anybody here with good or bad experiences with there products?

Thanks

I've used probably 10-12 of their kits over the years, IIRC the only problem I ever had were some detent pins, or maybe it was the roll pin for the bolt hold open?  Whatever it was, it was fairly minor.

Have used them several times. Quality kits. Never had a problem.

I have one of their Midlength kits - the finish matches up well with my RRA lower (older lower before the new logo).

Here are some pics in different configurations:

If I'm not mistake, the only big problems they have are with the bolt group. May or may not be an issue now. I had one of their M4 uppers way back during the ban, just because it was the only preban upper I could afford and it never did me wrong.

agreed.  just keep a spare bolt around from a known good mfg and you should have no problems.

all bolts break eventually anyway.

that said, for cheap but good parts kits, I would go with J&T distributing or Delton before Model 1, but thats just me.
