Now, this is a blast from the past. I found a video of my old model rocket club in West Covina, CA from the late 60's. Our clubhouse was at Cortez Park in West Covina. We launched at Galster Park, which was not far from where I grew up. What they don't mention is we burned down Galster Park so many times that the city finally booted us and we had to launch all our rockets at Lucerne Dry Lake.  Man, what a trip.
