A while ago, there was a walmart thread here where folks would report ammo, etc.

My understanding is the WM is now selling weapons again (at least long guns) and at least on AR (bushmaster patrol).  Thought i'd be nice for folks to weigh in if they've seen any in stores in Colorado.

The Centennial walmart at Arapahoe/Havana/Dry Creek is fully stocked on ammo.  No guns, though.

The only Walmart I'm aware of on the front range in the metro Denver area that sells long guns is the one on C-470 and Bowles.  I think there's one in Grand junction and maybesome other mountain locations too.

Salida's Walmart has shotguns and various rifles for sale...no AR's however.  Ammo supply on hand is fair to good.




eta: UPDATE...

As of yesterday (11/03/11) the Salida Walmart has a Bushmaster AR in one long gun 'tower' and a Remington 870 tactical shotgun
in the other 'tower'.

There are two WalMart in Longmont. One is located north of town off 287 and it has guns, ammo, and reloading tools and supplies. Another one is located east of town off 119. This one has no gun, but is well stocked with ammo.

WM at Bowles and 470 has shotguns, rifles, and ammo but no reloading supplies.  In addition, they can order a fairly long list of long guns in for you.

I believe in GJ the Wally on north Ave sells ammo. The rim rock had muzzle loaders and a few rifles in a rotating case.

Pueblo West is selling long guns again. No AR's sighted.

Ammo, specifically 9mm and 45acp are sporadic at best.

The majority of the Wal-Marts in COS (at least Platte, 8th Street, Palmer Park/Powers) never stopped selling long guns.

Yea pueblo west doesn't have much for ammo at all. They also have no reloading supplies that I know of.

Have you been in the one on Rim Rock lately?  Wondering if their Federal .22 bulk packs have come down in price yet?

Montrose Walmart now sells the bulk can of 5.56, and an ar or two. They also have those plano cases people were discussing recently.

Pueblo northside Walmart has sold fudd guns as long as I have paid attention (6 years or so), is usually well stocked with ammo, and within the last week or so has added "tactical" guns. A bushmaster m4gery with a2 birdcage, a sig 522 no flash hider, and what looked to be a 20" rifle gas system sig ar15 with all the sig fixings, no flash hider but a pre milled shoulder on the barrel that could be threaded. I don't remember prices but I do remember them being reasonable.

Was just at the Walmart in Montrose and they had the 420rd 5.56 ammo cans and Bushmaster AR15's.  Definitely seem to be getting more and more stuff lately and a decent ammo selection.
