Missed this thread entirely...lots of stuff going on.

But yes, I gave my 2 weeks notice last Monday.

After 11 years of "giving it all" it's gotten to the point where I felt "used and abused".

Along with many other grievances I've decided I've had enough.

Found a better (paying) position with a company south of here, and I'm looking forward to starting there.

[David Allan Coe]

(Chorus)

Take this job and shove it I ain't workin' here no more

My woman done left and took all the reason I was working for

Ya, better not try and stand in my way

Cause I'm walkin', out the door

Take this job and shove it I ain't working here no more

Well, I been working in this factory for now on fifteen years

All this time, I watched my woman drownin' in a pool of tears

And I've seen a lot of good folks die who had a lot of bills to pay

I'd give the shirt right off of my back if I had the guts to say...

(Chorus)

The foreman, he's a regular dog the line boss, he's a fool

Got a brand new flat top haircut Lord, he thinks he's cool

One of these days I'm gonna blow my top and that sucker, he's gonna pay

I can't wait to see their faces when I get the nerve to say...

(Chorus)

Take this job and shove it

Like I said before good luck!!

If you're still in Orlando, then no.

But it's driveable for me.

Now to find something that gets me better mileage....14mpg in my Tahoe is not going to be fun...

I have seen them burned and it really hurt people. This day in age

I sure don't see burning bridges as a good thing. But to each his own.

I worked for this company back in 95.  Back then I told them one day " I have good news and bad news "  Them ; whats the good news.   " The good news is I'm finished with this job"  Them ; whats the bad news then.  " This is the last job I'm doing for you "   They still hired me back.  In my line of work its not the people that you work for its the people you work with  that help ya down the road.  This new company kept my resume for over 1 year at the top of the pile.  Now that they are ready to hire  I'm in
