Quoted: Quoted: shut your dirty whorish mouth! i need 3-gun practice time and the weather keeps hosing me. I need cheap fuel and the weather keeps screwing me. I can't run biodiesel when it gets under 35F at night. Too cheap to heat the tank & lines, huh? Silly sooters. |

I have tried anything, and everything, for the past 3 winters. With the base stock oil I use (peanut), it's just not possible to run it below freezing. I've also contacted EVERY major commercial additive supplier in the USA, and a couple in Europe where biodiesel and diesel are more prevalent. It's just a no-go. So, I have to suck it up for the 4-5 months I can't run it. |

He strains it and pours it in the tank. Straight. I think he did tell me that he blends it in the winter though... Me? I've also got a 24 valve Cummins truck. I'm not quite as brave as he is... |

The 7.3 Ferd diesels would easily run off of that. I've heard it's a big no-no with the Bosch injection that the Duramax uses, so I'm not gonna try it. I believe the newer Cummins use the same style of injection. Hope he's doing more than straining it. Should be filtered down to at least 4 micron if not 1-2 micron. |
