May be transferred to Greenville/Spartanburg area. How are the schools? Greer= OK? Duncan= OK? Simpsonville= OK? Easley= OK? It may be a year or so in the works...just trying to prepare. Lex in NC |

I live in the Charleston area, so I can't speak specifically to those districts. Private schools (mainly church-run) and homeschooling are BIG in SC. It is possible that there are decent districts in the upstate, but down here only one of my two children spent a year in a public school. The rest has been a combination of home schooling and private school. Good luck. |

My children aren't school age yet, but the wife and I are talking private if we can swing it. Some friends of ours moved to Spartanburg to get in the school system there. Their children are elementary age. What ages are your children? I'll be glad to do some checking (I need to do it anyway). -yj |
