Towards the end of this month, my siblings and I are moving our Parents to Arkansas. (I don't know exactly where, only that a step-sister lives there)
Is there, are there any restrictions or things we should know concerning firearms?  My Father only has two guns: a single shot 12ga. and a .357 revolver
I really wouldn't expect anything, but these days one never knows.
Myself, I've never been to AR but will be spending a few days there getting them settled and in a few months be back down to check on them. You'll see from my location I'm in NY, but don't let that fool you. Uncle Sam sent me to Fort Drum which is 30 miles South of the Canadian Border, and I've been stuck here since.....Lots of folks think NY equals NYC: it's eight hours to the shitty from up here.

Arkansas is one of the most gun free states, and getting more free. The only issues you'll have is coming through Shelby County TN (if you're coming from that way) with out of state tags.

We're moving from South GA to the Jackson area.
I've traveled through TN quite a few times; liked it enough to consider moving there myself....I'll be a bit more careful going through Shelby now.

At this moment all I can say about taxes is that we're in the top ten States with the highest taxes, and check this out: If you have a ten round magazine, you're only allowed to load seven in it, and mags that hold 11 or more are a Felony at the same level as child molesters.

I just noticed you love in the free people's republic of New York! Once a member of a free country now a communist state!

I'm sorry!

We welcome you with open arms! Let your other freedom loving friends know where we are at, as we could always use more like-minded sorts to help keep the ratios proper.

The last time that I read such things, Arkansas was Number 11 in per capita taxes. Yet we are either 49 or 50 in per capita income.

Those on the South side of the Hudson River would piss themselves over such a fine firearm.
Couple more years and my "tour of Duty" will be done here. Just have to find another Military Base needing someone with my job skills.
