This is completly irrelevant to me save for curiosities sake (I live in washington county and don't see myself moving anytime soon) but I am curious. I have head that the the county won't issue any CHL's for out of state people, but how are they about issuing CHL's to in-state residents? I just thought I would ask as I have heard nothing but bad things about this county mostly from people who don't live there. Anyone willing to enlighten me? |
Work, friends, and family...In just about that many words... ETA Whoever was answering the phones at the time in the Multnomah County Sheriffs office and whomever sits behind the desk in the front office will tell you that it can't be done and they won't issue one. I asked for the packet anyway and read it in the parking lot. It had no provisions as I was told on the phone. Filled it out, made the appoointment, gave them my money, and it showed in the mail. |
