It's classified as a "non-flash suppressing device" by the ATF, and is legal in NY.  Not that this necessarily means anything in NJ, though. Just FYI.

The handguards are original Egyptian wood that came with it and the stock is a refinished Romanian that is a bit lighter in color but kinda matches.

Me too, for the money, it's one of the best kept secrets I think. very effective and minimal blast/noise to the shooter.
