I'm in Taylor Ham country. New Jersey Firearms Owners Syndicate @NJFOSyndicate ELECTION UPDATE: Seeing exciting developments in the early vote. In key parts around the state, anywhere from 20 to 40% of likely GOP early voters are coming from low-propensity voters who do not normally vote in state elections. That is huge! All the work that @ScottPresler and @EarlyVoteAction are doing is working! It's less than 2 weeks until election day. We need volunteers for the final push. On Tuesday, Oct 28, we will be hosting a phone banking night at Gun For Hire, LLC in Woodland Park from 5:30 PM until 8 PM. @gunforhirerange On Wednesday, Oct 29, we will be at Weshoot in Lakewood from 5:30 to 8. @WESHOOTUSA And if you are in South Jersey, on Tuesday, Oct 28, NJFOS Endorsed Candidates Chris Konawel and Lawrence Moore's campaign will be hosting phone banking at the Masonic Lodge at 45 Mantua Boulevard from 6 PM to 8 PM. It is hard to understate how important this election is and how close we are to kicking tyrants out of our state and electing @Jack4NJ We are asking for two things: 1) an hour or two of your time on either Tuesday or Wednesday night 2) an hour or two of your time on Saturday or Sunday, on either November 1st or 2nd. Not sure what to make of this.   Will New Jersey Vote for Freedom? "Allowing untrained and unchecked individuals to carry concealed firearms in New Jersey is unconscionable," said Sherrill in 2017, in spite of the fact that New Jersey carry permits are only issued to those who have received training and cleared a background check. As she is for infringing on citizens' Second Amendment rights at every opportunity, Sherrill has received a well-deserved "F" from the NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF). Ciattarelli, in contrast, has a "B+" rating from the NRA-PVF. Joe LoPorto, the director of legal operations of New Jersey Firearms Owners Syndicate (NJFOS), spoke on behalf of the organization. NJFOS gave Ciattarelli an "A" rating and LoPorto said that Ciattarelli has a successful track record when it comes to winning elections as well as creating "coattails" in critical assembly races. Interesting anecdote, I had dinner with a friend from High School last night. We have kept in touch relatively closely over the years. We don't usually get into politics much, but he is aware the I vote R, hold pretty extreme pro liberty values, and that I am really into guns. As far as I understand it he has voted D in every election he has ever voted in. He said he's voting for ciattarelli, saying he's fed up with property taxes. I was shocked. |

I'll take anecdotal evidence over polls anytime! Thanks for sharing. The polls are now open in NJ for early voting. If you haven't voted by mail or can't make it to the polls on election day, take advantage of the opportunity to vote early.

Where are the other votes going? We know a certain amount of democrats, republicans and unaffiliated voters already voted but we won't know who they voted for until election day when the votes start getting counted because a democrat could've voted for a republican and vice versa. Those unaffiliated could've voted for either Jack or Mikie. Each county will only open and start counting mail in ballots at the start of election day. Those ballots cast during early in person voting and on election day wont be counted until the close of elections on November 4th. I guess that's one reason why both parties were pushing vote by mail because those votes get counted first and are an early indicator of a possible winner. The bottom line is that we won't know who got how many votes until election day is over. |
