I'm offering an NRA Instructor Class in the following disciplines: Home Firearms Safety, Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home, and Range Safety Officer. These are the classes that most states (such as Nevada and Arizona) require in some combination in order to be certified as CCW Instructors. This is an intensive, 3 LONG DAYS of instruction in how to teach the basics of shooting. This is not a shooting class. You will be in front of your peers, giving blocks of instruction, and learning the methods I've used to improve my students' shooting abilities. Actually, it's Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Lincoln's Birthday). Class starts at 8:30 and goes until we are finished, no set end time. There's also lots of homework, as you will be preparing a block of instruction for the following day. |
