AAI will be hosting an instructor development course for those who are interested in becoming a NRA Certified Instructor in pistol, rifle, shotgun and Range Safety Officer.
The prerequisite to being able to attend this course is that you have to be able to provide documentation of training in each of the disciplines from a reputable instructor/firm (email [email protected]) for clarification. The cost is $325 for all 4 disciplines and will be held on Saturday, December 20th by a NRA certified counselor. This is a limited seat course that will be held in Lake City, Florida and payment must be made by December 1st in order for the home study materials to be sent to each participant prior to the classroom/range portion. This course will then enable participants to go forth and pass instruction on to the masses enabling those who wish to obtain their CCW licenses and promote responsible firearms ownership and support the 2nd ammendment. | Hence the requirement for having attended courses in each of the disciplines (pistol, shotgun and rifle) from a reputable instructor/firm (that provides the foundation) ... the instructor materials will be mailed to the participants at a minimum one week prior to the course for self study ... upon reaching the one day course after having had a minimum of 2 to 5 days of training in the disciplines depending on which courses they have taken for a total of 6 to 15 days ... the participant will be given an instructor development lecture and will demonstrate proficiency with each of the firearms as well as presenting an assigned topic and running various drills on the range (hence the limited seating for the course). |
