I need it, but have relatively high income. I work for an out of state employer, doing software development.
Prices seem high here. What do you guys use? I'm in Monroe County, and, so far, HealthNow is leading the pack. |

Thanks for the tips, guys.
Rochester Chamber of Commerce is well known for having a group benefit of some kind, but I can't join it as an individual. What I did find was basic catastrophic coverage through Excellus for a bit under 500 a month. That's not great, but it's less than half of what HMO coverage would be, so that's what I'm going to go with, if the coverage limits and such check out. Thanks again. |

You can usually just say you are self employed consultant or file a dba and get in w/ chamber of comm. but looks like you found something already.
500 for catastrophic? Sounds high? I do think our c of c made me give them a tax return to prove I was self employed a few years ago because people were sneaking (like they couldn,t just gin up a fake tax return anyway) Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
