They say that is due to no complete clauses in contracts with resellers.

I was told that the state of GA ordered Natchez to collect sales tax for any mail order sales in the state.  They decided it was too much trouble to collect the sales tax and will not sell to us.  Not sure what justification claimed by the state to demand the collection of sales tax.

+1 on Wideners.

I contacted them directly by phone last year about this.  The guy I spoke with said it is because the state of GA said they had too many direct shipments (their own trucks, I guess?) coming here and said that they owed TONS of back taxes, since they were in effect operating out of GA.  They would owe taxes on all they were selling now and also on the years they had already sold.

He said due to unfair taxes from GA and other states, they couldn't sell me anything.  He said I could have it shipped to a friend in another state, but how would that help me (add in crazy S/H costs again)?

Same story I got. I used to order and send it to my in-laws in FL. We see them on a regular basis, so it was not a problem to pick stuff up. Now I cannot use a credit card or account in Georgia to order anything.

So I got my C&R FFL and use that discount elsewhere..

as crowkiller stated I called them and wanted to order and send it to a friend in florida since I am 20 mins from the Florida line  but since the billing address was in georgia they told me I could not order. I was just curious so I tried to order and NOPE!
