I noticed this show for the upcoming weekend (Dec 6 & 7).  It's a long drive from South Georgia.  I will be browsing for WWII stuff.  Is it any different from the typical gunshows?

They had one of these a couple of months ago, and I decided to go check it out. Only slightly better than the average gun show in my opinion. There are many more tables, but a bunch of them are non-firearms related (flea market). Seemed like there were a couple of tables with WWII stuff, but cannot remember for sure. I don't know how far a drive it would be for you, but much more than an hour would be be too much for me if the show is the same or similar. I have been to a ton of gun shows, and I went this past weekend, but they just are not for me anymore and I will not be attending this one. Like others have commented, prices are stupid right now.

Three hour drive and high prices for worn-out crap!

I'll just grab a couple of other "honey-do" escapees and make a road trip of it.

The great thing about this show is it's so damn big! Twice the size of the biggest Eastman (cough) show. Lots of every damn thing in the book, including the book in some cases. I did find a lot of things I did not see at other shows. Lots of cammo gear /retro m-16 goodies/ and tons of stuff for the Fudds.  Honestly, it took me 2 hours almost to walk it once, that's a lot of freakin gear.

I'm sure AIRWINGER will be there as well as NRA @ the door and great folks from Ga Carry.org.  Jerky is pretty good too.

It gets me out of the house so I'm going,

besides it's only 10 min away.

I am hoping more gun dealers from Eastman will show up. Last one was mixed, all sorts of stuff. Mint condition Winchester 22's. decent stuff walking around. Picked up a nice Ruger SS Single Action 357 and a few other items last show. I plan to be there this weekend. May even bring something to walk around.
Wonder if I could get $2k for the Norinco.

The real deals are to be made with your fellow gun show attendees.  Lots of good deals to be had with private sales, guys who bring something from home (that they've fallen out of love with) that they hope to sell so they can buy something new.
Cash is the only way to go with these deals, so if you're a credit card guy, you're out of luck.

Did anyone go today? What was the door charge? Was it like the last "big" show? Anything interesting there?

$12.00 at the door for both days.
There is a guy selling Argentine M1A/M14 mags for 16 bucks a pop.
The good deals were private sales and there were a lot of them.
This was the first time I have been to a show that had 2 pristine G43's.
One with original optics and one with irons.

8mm Mauser @ $1.00/round?

$379.00 for a CZ82?

WASR 10 for $700.00?

The vendors were too busy drooling over the fools buying at those prices to answer questions.
Rampant ass rapery all around, I didn't even buy anything and I'm sore.

Oh, and were those Galati cases real?

Edited to add - Wolf 500 rds for $200. Used AR and AK 30rd mags @ $30.00 with note: "Get them while you can!"

About the norm these days I suppose.  Last show I didn't intend to buy anything but Chris at SemperFi arms had a Double Star lower so I supported him in buying one.  I almost bought a Mossberg 590 with ghost ring sights at $399 though.

There was also one with an A2 stock for $600.

OTOH, there were several dealers with lowers in the $165-189 range, and a few Armalite rifles for just slightly over MSRP.  The Olympics and the Century Arms AR's were sporting very optimistic prices, though.

Private sales were good.  And the guys selling PC wood-stocked guns didn't seem to be moving much merchandise.  Handguns selling right & left, though.

AR15 30rd mags (new) were $18-35.
Several guys with almost-new AK47 mags for $20.
New Glock mags were $30+.
I didn't see aany PMags in th house.

+1 to Chris at Semper Fi Arms.  Several reasonably-priced new Doublstar M4's at his table.

Yep, took a friend to purchase a Kel-tec P32, and the dealer asked us what we wanted and then turned around and ignored my friend and I........we just walked away.

Found a screaming deal on a Century Golani.........only 1295 out the door........the best deals were the private ones

Hi, new to the site.  I picked up a new RRA lower for $200 out the door for my first AR.  What are the laws for building post ban?  Is there a link on the site?  I saw a write up on Brownells that made it look quite limited.
