At the 3 gangstas gunshow today a friend tried to buy a stripped lower but he got held up with his NICS. The dealer called four times and the last three times was told something like he needed to be checked out further or something like that. What exactly do these people do or say when a dealer calls? Another customer at the same table said he had the same issue and had to wait & wait & wait. Could the hold up be that my friend was born in Germany in the 50's? He has his C&R and I know he's not an evil do'er. By the way the show was good. MCA was fightin' off customers (trying to get the jerky across from them ![]() |

i dont think they know. i they dont tell the dealer anything. its a shame really basically means people can never buy from gun shows. there is no rime or reason to it, this id coming from ex c&r holder, ccw holder, ex medic, and has tons of law enforcement friends and a person that gets it done to him every time. doesnt matter if i am standing there with a pistol permit. Hey now that was Grain fed Buffalo Jerky.... Good stuff! not like your average Gun Show Jerky! |

I have never Ever Been delayed.... I usually get the response.... "Sure give him another one..... Heck go ahead and give him whatever he wants..... but don't make eye contact...." Don't know why that is... I used to work with an FBI special agent who hated guns! Simply despised them... said everyone who had guns was a white supremicist, Radical, Nut!... Except me... I was the one person whom he did not mind being in possession of firearms! When I got licensed as an FFL he made no qualms about it... unlike some others I know... Maybe it is my past... Hmmmm I wonder??? |
What time of day was this? I get "escalated" to "level two" about 50% of the time. I have no idea why, but I'd like to know. I guess I shouldn't really care because I ALWAYS get the green light, but my record is absolutely spotless. I have a C&R as well. I think it's ironic since it's a type of an "FFL", but they still second guess me sometimes. |
