| I'm an IL resident but travel to NE pretty often. Does Nebraska have a non-resident permit? I've seen info saying both ways. Thanks guys |

NE only issues to residents of Nebraska. If you travel a lot, you still might want to get the Utah or FL permits as they are valid in numerous States...(but not NE...or IL of course!) PM me if you are interested in information on the UT and FL classes I present in IL. You can open carry however as a non-resident. Whether that is wise or will get some attention in some of the larger towns is iffy. |

i'm usually in either Omaha or Lincoln. I wouldn't have a problem open carrying, but i'm sure other people would. ETA: yeah, I live up toward Rockford so if you have a class that's in the Aurora, Naperville, Far west suburbs area i'd be interested in the FL or Utah permit classes |
Unfortunately, a "safety class" and a permit issued by the city of Omaha is required for open carry within the city limits of Omaha. I don't believe there are any such requirements in Lincoln(or the rest of the state). |
1 Nebraska NE recognizes -0- other States....just their own. |
