I just sold a pistol in the EE and I need to go to a place/dealer who will not be in a PITA about shipping firearms. Please give me some suggestions - thanks!

Try Gunbert's favorite place.  Bills Buy and Sell on Freemont/Maryland. 702-382-1133

I prefer a little safer side of town (since I'm on day 118/120 waiting for my CCW) on east Tropicana at The Gun Store. 702-454-1110.

Or maybe we have some Southern Nevada members who have  an 03FFL.

Thanks Mike!

I will probably go to the place on Trop - I am not into those Ghetto Gunstores

Looks like I am the only one from Nevada going to Gunstock

Talking to EdSr the other day, we both considered moving Gunstock to Vegas next year.

If you are serious about that, BLM maintains an area in Jean for large group shooting etc.  I know the guy at the local office who issues the permits.  Let me know when the time comes and I will get you guys together.

Have a safe trip

Back to the original topic, if you SOLD the pistol, then you don't need an FFL.  The buyer needs to have an FFL receive the pistol, but the shipper can send it himself.  Just be sure to tell UPS/FedEx that it's a firearm because federal law requires that notification, and their policy may be to require it sent Overnight (the most expensive method) but there is no reason to involve an FFL on the seller's end.

Ryan brought this up months ago, it only makes sense. Cheap airfare, hotel rooms, and things for the chickys and kids to do while dad is shooting for 3 days.

Spurlock's gun shop in Henderson.

one of the problems is that some FFLs on the receiving side won't send theirs to an individual, but only a gunshop.

Go to Discount Firearms or Spurlocks. those dealers are good to go for transfers.

FFL transfers????? This may help.
This a.m. I dropped off a M/O with instructions to send a copy of their FFL to the selling FFL I am purchasing from. (Believe they will only send one to another FFL; no private parties, but ask them. I could be wrong.) I've done this before with them. Oh yeah; Discount Firearms on Bldr Hiwy near Joker's Wild Casino. Dave, Anna, or Mike will assist you. Tell 'em Douglas sent you. (702) 567-1158 As long as it's "straight-up" business they've always helped me.
