I have CZ 452 (ultra lux) and a Walther G22 I want to get threaded, anyone know of a gunsmith in the Atlanta Area that has a lathe that and is capable? Matt |

For the Walther - just get the threaded adapter listed in the NFA section. No need to thread anything as the end of the barrel is a nut for holding the gun together. www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=118&t=355053 or Tactical Innovations www.tacticalinc.com/mc/mc9index-2.html For the rifle - try Andy Gazaway at Gazaway Machine and Tool in Alpharetta (up off 400). email me for his phone number. |

Yep. I strongly recommend Jered (Patriot Arms) to all my customers. If I'm selling a guy a silencer I KNOW Jered's work can be trusted 100%. I've seen him opperate. He isn't always the cheapest or the fastest, but it will get done right. That means a lot to me. I hand deliver stuff to Jered for my customers and don't charge any fees to do it. It takes my time and lots of dollars in gas, but I'd rather know my customers aren't going to have a problem with baffle strikes due to bad threading. Plus, if I hand deliever something Jered always trys to get that done for me pretty quickly. Believe me, sometimes it is a pain in the neck and not very convenient for me, but I do it so my customers will have something of quality. Believe me, I've seen my share of hacks who actually have pretty good reputations as 'smiths. Scarry. Mark |

Falken, are you just threading the 452 or are you gonna cut it? We've had Jered cut and thread several 452s for us. Barrels get cut to 16.25", so with a silencer like the AAC Pilot or SWR Warlock, the whole package is back to nearly normal length. We've sold many Pilots because of these handy little rifles. Mark |
Spare the sob story, just like anybody else who has been to his shop, we all know you probably look for any excuse to get over there just to see what he's working on, what new toys he has or for good coversation. |
