What the hell is going on now?
Last I heard they were doing pretty good - had to work out some language - and the next step was to have it signed (which looks promising). If this is referring to the addition that pretty much makes it constitutional carry.... I thought that was already dead. |

Was on the agenda for today but according to Sen Shultz's office Sykes requested the bill not be heard/voted on today.

This is what someone on another site posted up....
"Just got off the phone myself... The nice lady told me that they are just keeping track of the calls for or against. I stated that I read in the paper that the Governor was for the bill and said that she said she would be signing it. Again, the nice lady said that they are only keeping track of the calls coming in and that the Governor is for the bill, but she's interested in hearing the voice of the constituents. So please, make the call. She told me that since about 11:00 all the calls have been "for" but all calls proir were "against." I asked her about numbers...at that moment it was about 15 to 33 in freedoms favor. Again, please make the call! " |

She better watch out if she is trying to talk out of both sides of her mouth.
The NRA is reporting that she has said she will sign the bill. Hopefully she knows better than to play games!! |
