Can anyone here describe for me the Ashford, Middlesex area for me? What are the demographics like? What kind of town is Ashford (bedroom community, suburban, etc.)? What kind of housing is predominant and how do the values compare with other areas?

I work at the Prison in Ashford, it's nice in some places not so much in others, expensive housing which i dont think it warrants just 'cos it's close to London. Goodluck.
