I need a recommendation for new HTML editor. Way back in the day I used to do it all in Wordpad, but I've got way too much stuff to maintain and post to jack with that kind of stuff again.

I had NetObject Fusion for a long time, then they died, and my IT guy got me a copy of MS Frontpage in 97.

Now I'm trying to completely redesign my company website now, and working with Frontpage is like having your pecker superglued to your leg. Even manually tweaking it's bloated HTML doesn't work, the tables suck, the interface sucks, now it's completely crapping out on the manual code. It just needs to die (actually MS let it die).  I need something else.

Recommendations? Cheap or free would be really good.

netscape comunicator came with a good free one. Let you just type or drag and drop, then fix it in html when you were done. You can still find copies of it out on the net. I keep a copy on cd if I ever need to edit a web page.
