Unfortunately, I didn't get much notice on this, but I have to travel to Garrett County on business in a couple of days and I have the following questions:
1. MD does not recognize a WV CCL, correct? 2. May I have my handgun in my vehicle so long as it is unloaded and in a locked case and the ammunition is not readily accessible? 3. If the answer to the above question is "no", may I do the same with a long-gun; say something like a pump-action shotgun? I hate traveling to commie states. |

Quoted:
1. MD does not recognize a WV CCL, correct? Correct - MD doesn't recognize ANY CCL/CCW licenses 2. May I have my handgun in my vehicle so long as it is unloaded and in a locked case and the ammunition is not readily accessible? NO. Transport of a handgun like that is allowed to/from a range or other authorized activity. You cannot just keep your handgun in your trunk. 3. If the answer to the above question is "no", may I do the same with a long-gun; say something like a pump-action shotgun? Theoretically yes. I hate traveling to commie states. Try living in them, it can really suck. |
