I am making a public vow to continue to call the reps from my district and ask questions about the law and demand to know when they will fix their mistake. I just got off the phone with Cahill's office. Courtney was polite but we agreed on some obvious problems with the law. However, she stated Cahill does not see them as flaws. Well I promised to call everyday until he does. It is well worth a few minutes of my time each day.
We bombarded their phones when this was being voted on and wore out the people answering. We need to continue to do so. It at the very least gives me the satisfaction of knowing I am a continual annoyance. These people work for me and I will not let them forget. |
| This. If we're going to save ourselves, we can never let this wound heal until things are set right. The day we stop making noise is the day that people forget. After that, when seek to get laws ammended, it's WE who are making a change and upsetting the status quo. We need to make sure we indefinitely frame the debate as an attempt to get our rights BACK - not ask for "new" ones. |
