Here in OK with a CHL I can transport a long gun in cruiser ready mode while driving. I'm headed to see relatives in Katy next weekend and wanted to know if I can do the same in Texas or is it a no go. I looked at the linked sections on Texas law but didn't see an answer. Thanks for any help knowledgeable Texans can give me.
