Well, after a long wait, I'm finally a daddy!
Kate was born 3/22/2009 at 2:35pm. She was 6lbs 9.5oz and 20.5" long. My wife had a smooth labor and no major complications. The baby looks great, and seems healthy and alert. She's feeding well, and doing everything she's supposed to.

Ditto on the rifle. We were with some folks a couple of weeks ago and they had a 6 year old boy. He proudly proclaimed he had a BB gun. Then when my 4 year old daughter said she had her own BB gun, he got this sick look like he had been outdone by a little girl. My wife is pregnant with our second child, a boy, due in August. I always figured all my guns would go to my daughter for her kids when I leave this world. Now I'd have to split them up between two kids. Got plenty of rifles, shotguns, pistols, revolvers, etc. to split it up pretty evenly. Only have one AR though, think I may need another to even it up. |
