I just picked up an Aimpoint 7000SC from the "bargain cave" at Cabelas. They had it listed for $220.... but got them to reduce it to $185 since it is missing the elevation and windage caps..... I also told them I thought it was supposed to come with rings (im not sure if that is true??) but I think I got a pretty OK deal. ESP since they are running a deal where you get $20 off a purchase over 120 bucks. So it was really only $165.

Anywho, I need caps. Where would I get them?

PS. The sight seems to be 100%, got it mounted on WARNE High Mount quick release rings, that were marked down from 59.99 to 16.88 in the bargain cave as well. It provides a perfect co-witness where the dot it right at the top of the sight post.

Will get pics ASAP.

So far I have added a no-name grip, G2 w/120 lumen lamp and remote switch thingy mounted on a front site rail, tritium front site, and now a Aimpoint. And yet I need more!

I'd contact a dealer in optics, and see what they can do for you.  Not a bad looking optic.  Is that a 4 moa dot?

Yep, 4 MOA. According to the Aimpoint website this is a discontinued optic. It is bigger than the M2 and M3 models, other than that I don't see much difference.

I am willing to bet the caps from a M2 would fit it.  Call Aimpoint and ask.  I see lots of military M68s mounted that way.  It makes the zeroing harder than if the caps are vertical or 90 degrees, but once it is zeroed it doesn't matter.
