[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New Job!

After months of waiting and trying, I've got a new job! I'm going to be a police officer for a small municipal department in South Central VA. Many of you guys can probably guess where.

Anyway, we're excited, and I leave for the academy next week. Just thought I'd pass along the good news! No more two part time jobs!

Here is the list of vacancies in the local area, as far as I know:

Cumberland County Sheriff's Office - 2
Longwood University Police Dept. - 2
Appomattox County Sheriff's Office - 2
Blackstone Police Department - 2
Lunenburg County Sheriff's Office - 1
Crewe Police Department - 1

And, of course, VSP always has vacancies
