blazing fast....... 500 gig hard drive, 2 gigs ram, AMD Athlon 64 dual core processor.....not top line..but more than I'll ever need.

For my home network, I bought a small NAS box (that's "network attached storage") that has 3 500 GB drives in a RAID5 array for 1 TB of SAFE storage for my home videos (Sony HD camcorder), pictures, music, ripped DVD movies, data, etc. Since it is on my home network, it can be used by all of the computers in the house, including the Sony PS3. It is very cool!

About $3k with a 27" monitor. 
Crazy.

While i was there I fondled that lower on your desk.....really, if your son is just going to let ANYONE in while you are at work, you should really hide the goodies man!!!
