Hey yall, Just stopping in to say hi. I am in the St. Louis Area. Pat

Well the problem with that is that I have no $$$ right now, I have "retired" so to speak so that I could get back into shape for boot. I was in the A/C - Heating game for about 3 years and decided to sign up. So, I would love to BFMG, but current situation does not allow it. Anybody used Mid-America Arms at Gravois and Tesson Ferry, they do have a couple AK's but I think they are the 5.45, havent really heard much about that round, but they have them for like $350-400. Welcome aboard Semper! Always nice to see another face around here. So you re-enlisted for the marines eh? Sounds great! Makes me feel good to see a real patriot. (I am too old to re-up ever again, but I was Army) I unfortunately can not make the shoot this weekend however I really really want to make the next one. If you are still around then I would be happy to let you use any one of my I see you mentioned Mid-America Arms, are you in that area? I am in the process of moving into a house maybe a mile away from there, as of now I am in St. Charles. BTW, if you are interested in trying out one of those SAR3 rifles (AK type in 5.45x39 caliber) I do have one you could fire to see if you like them. Hope to see you at of of the shoots! Gary |

No not reupping, enlisting. I am 21 years old and with a college degree in HVAC, yet I left that career to go in the Marines. Is there a shoot this weekend and where? I may come down and blow a box of 30-06 and some 9s. Let me know, IM me or something. I am an idiot and my golf tourney is next weekend, so I am free pretty much all weekend. Mid america Arms is about 5 or so miles from my house. I am really close to Ted Drewes on Chippewa. Pat ![]() ETA: Never mind I am an idiot. Just read the other thread about it. Can't be there since I have no extra money, just have a couple extra boxes of ammo sitting around. |
First off, SemperMO, I salute you and thank you for enlisting Isn't Ted Drewes the famous frozen custard place that's located on what used to be Hwy 66 through St. Louis? Speaking of food and/or drink, I don't know why I'm always getting in on this subject:) I love Fitz Root Beer of St. Louis, it has to be one of the best soft drinks I've ever had!!!! Unfortunately it rarely shows up down this way. Visited Hermann(MO) a few weeks ago and found some there. I did bring some home with me, mmmmmmm.Rick SGF, MO |
