Hey I'm new here and to AR's. I'm building my first AR instead of buying so I can have it the way I want and if I can assemble it I will know how to disassemble it. I live around Daviess Co. Was wondering if there's anyone on here that would be willing to do a head space check on my rifle and spare me the expense of buying the gauges. I don't see myself building enough to warrant the cost.

If you are building with a new barrel and new bolt, then the headspacing should be good to go as is. ARs are not like bolt guns in this regard.
