AR15s are lovely. Shooting them is fun. Training in support of self (and other) defense is excellent. This website has a code of conduct that expressly prohibits advertising selling products and services without accounts being in certain statuses. It’s pretty simple and clearly stated. |

Is the problem that the poster on the TSF posts is associated with TSF and advertising price? Or is any match posting not allowed? Even if the poster is not affiliated with the range? Ex. I saw an match posted in Paris. Can i (unafilliated) post the info? |
| You’ve got it - feel free to share events you see, etc. but a person or org selling a service (ie, charging a fee) and advertising is not allowed without having some sort of industry partner account. |

But when your screenname is the very name of the match that you're asking people to spend money to attend, that seems to imply enough of a relationship to trigger the advertising rule. True, I looked back at how long ago a couple of the locked threads had been started, but I failed to notice that the locks on those threads were done a couple days ago. I think each lock did follow a pattern of stating why the thread was locked and what action could be taken to allow advertising in the future, so there was an effort from mods to point him toward the proper person to talk to. ETA: This sort of thing (along with avoiding a potential arocking) is why I avoid mentioning who I currently work for, when I post in the aviation subforum. At one point, I was considering posting pictures of an instrument panel I made, but decided it wasn't worth the potential trouble, since it could be viewed as advertising my employer's products. |
