GAHTF, some of you know I’m involved with competitive shotgun competition, particularly SCTP and NSCA events. It’s that time of year where GA SCTP teams start their season. I have a son very active in competitive shotgun and his team is the Etowah Valley Mamabs. We’re holding our open try outs for new members coming up on Jan 17th and Jan 24th. These are open to any kid 11-21 who want to try out for the team. We’re a competitive, travel team that focuses on Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap and Super Sporting. No competition experience is needed but we’re looking for kids eager to learn and compete with other SCTP nationwide. If you know a kid interested have plan to make one of the try out sessions at Etowah Valley Sporting Clays in Dawsonville, GA.
