NICS checks in November were an all time high. 1,529,635. December is usually a big month for gun sales.

Obama said he was going to get the economy moving. I see he's starting in the firearms Ind. first.

Sorry, I couldn't refuse.

Ok, I'll go stand in the conner....

They changed the NICS form too.  The questions on the bottom now have check boxes for "yes" and "no" rather than having to write them in manually.

I am touched that someone out there is looking out for us gun-buyers like that.

They finally realized that reading the handwritten Y or N was too subjective.

Back when the Race box was a blank, I asked a dealer if I should put in white or caucasion, and he said just don't put in master- the atf does not like that one...

LOL

I would assume that marking "Master" may draw a bit of unwanted attention.  I have marked "human" on a few less important forms.

I was always instructed to write out "yes" or "no" completely by the guys at the shop that I go to anyway for that same reason (ambiguous letter markings).  They also told me that the NICS check is one of the few federal forms where they can legally require an individual to disclose his race.
