| Im confused. Are we good in UTAH? |
|
Yes.
Note: You must not only abide by the laws of the state that recognizes your permit, you must also abide by the laws of the issuing state. Therefore, only semi-automatics listed on the Nevada permit can be carried concealed. If your permit says 'Revolvers Authorized" you can carry any revolver concealed. If your Nevada permit does not say "Revolvers Authorized" and you have a specific revolver(s) listed on your permit, you are only authorized to carry those specific weapons concealed. Hope this helps. Be Safe. Joe |

LEO's are gun friendly in Utah. Like Nevada there is no legal requirement to tell a LEO that you are carrying concealed unless asked, but as a courtesy to the officer (and to avoid a sticky situation) it is a good idea to inform the officer at initial contact.
Check on their laws before you go just to be caught up. Here's a link to BCI's Web-Site where you'll find some good info. Enjoy your trip. Be Safe. Joe |
