Found these guys yesterday and went to check out their operation:
http://www.ocarmory.com/ These guys carry bullet buttons for the AR, AK and M1A. They can also get de-listed 6921 rifles, with pinned flash hiders. They're $2000 but where else can you get a de-listed complete Colt SBR in CA? They've also got AR pistols (single-shot but easily converted) and Saiga 12's. If you're ever in OC, check them out. The owner is really cool, and seems to know his stuff. |
OC Armory = Class 3 SOT 
So, they will transfer AOWs on approved Form 4s. 
AOWs = Title 2 firearm that does not need CA DOJ BOF approval to own/possess. Form a trust/corporation and send your Form 1/4 direct to BATFE. BATFE does approve Form 1s and 4s for AOWs for CA residents. Main problem is finding a Class 2 or 3 SOT in CA, willing to transfer to a regular person. Which, OC Armory is willing to do.
