So today at Lakeside mall, there was some kid OCing, what looked like a glock with a 30 rd mag. Apparently this kid thought he would try to push the envelope til he can sue, approach. So when security asked him to leave, he made a small scene with the "its my constitutional right" line. Yeah, it is. But he was inside the mall, which is private property, and he had to pass no less than 2 signs at each entrance listing it as a self proclaimed PFZ.
Btw, the mall only puts up the signs for people like this. They dont care if you CC. Anywho..... The kid quickly lost the wind in his sails and left before the police showed up and ticketed him for trespassing. |

Although I have no problem with ppl OCing I prefer CC. I would rather be an unknown in a group, especially when bad guys are around. Yup. I dont have an issue witth OC at all. Its the peeps like mentioned above who make the good OC peeps look foolish. I met a guy at the pit last year who was OC and was impressed. He was OC in a holster with good retention. Ive seen may OC with a simple kydex no retention holster which imo is foolish. One wno has any kind of defensive tactics training can disarm them rather quickly. |

I OC in a Raven. Retention like firearm safety is between the ears. |
